Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model TV host, comic and host. She went septic and experienced several organ failures, including her kidneys which did not heal. Her new normal was the peritoneal, and later hemodialysis. After having spent 80 days in the hospital her condition changed from in danger of death to an extended recovering journey. Angelica endured dialysis treatments for over a decade half years before receiving the kidney transplant. The kidney she would receive from her mother. The 13th of September, 2013, Angelica and her mom went through the successful transplantation of their kidney at two remarkable hospitals close to each other: the Memory University Hospital as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston.
